Welcome to the Digital Design Advice Blog or DDA as we call it for short.
This blog is dedicated to digital design in its many forms but we also explore real art and web technologies should something from that field pop up.
We try to cover as large an area as possible so you’ll see us discussing web design, print design, new media and sometimes even marketing.
At the moment we have three major posters each of which tries to get a post in a week. Some information about each of us is below along with a contact email address, please feel free to contact one of us regarding anything to do with the blog, we are open to taking new posters on board but you’ll need to know your stuff!
Lucy is the founder of DDA having been a web designer for a few years with a varied background in print design and graphic design. Having worked for a major digital design agency for the last year she has gained invaluable experience of all aspects of design. Lucy’s main passion is to banish table based design and encourage all design to be fresh, new and inviting. From this blog Lucy hopes to shares ideas and invite people to post and share their ideas and thoughts.
Chloe has been working as a digital graphic designer for the past 6 years and has a wealth of experience in interactive web design. She will be bringing us posts that are not only visually stunning but also encourage interaction with the user through innovative functionality, navigation as well as design. Her interests include any kind of design including animated design through either static images or anitmated films.
Sophie is the latest recruit to DDA, she is a graphic designer who works mostly on print and digital marketing work but has expierence in web design too. Sophie provides us with a professional insight into the field of graphic design and helps us spot examples of great graphic design as well as give hints and tips on how to produce your own.
